Characterization of Silver Metallic Complexes of Meso-tetrakis (4-alkoxyphenyl) Porphyrins Using Laser Desorption Ionization Time-of-flight Mass Spectrometry (LDI-TOF-MS)

  • A series of different structural silver metallic complexes of meso-tetrakis(4-alkoxyphenyl) porphyrins were characterized with laser desorption ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry(LDI-TOF-MS) technique.The samples were dissolved in chloroform and the data were recorded by positive ion mode.No any other fragment was found except for little molecular fragment ion peaks.LDI-TOF-MS is very effective for the analysis of the novel metallic complexes of meso-tetrakis(4-alkoxyphenyl) porphyrins.
