Abstract:
A high performance liquid chromatographic(HPLC) method was set up for the monitoring of two different bromine-substituted fluorenes(2-bromofluorene and 2, 7-dibromofluorene). The method consisted of a C18 column, and an acetonitrile-water(80:20,
V:
V)mixture was used as the mobile phase, the detection was at 270 nm with a flow rate of 1.3 mL/min. The linear range was 0.01~0.12 mg/mL, the correlation coefficients were 0.999 9, and the average recoveries were 106.7% and 100.1% respectively, with the relative standard deviations of 0.72% and 0.87%. The method is simple in operation and accurate in results, and is suitable for the analysis and detection of more than two different bromine-substituted fluorenes.
