Abstract:
A method for the simultaneous determination of 8 heavy metals elements (Copper, lead, zinc, arsenic, antimony, cobalt, chromium and nickel)in soil by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry using powder pelleting preparation has been developed. The national standard material for soil and self-prepored standard reference materials were use to build the calibration curve solved the problem of insufficient related standards, and broadened the scope of element determination (10~20 000 μg/g). The measuring conditions of arsenic and antimony is discussed, although the detection limit and precision determination lower limit for these element are rather high, it has important referential significance for soil quality evaluation. The method is rapid, simple and accurate.
