Abstract:
A dynamic headspace sampling method coupled with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (D-HS-GC-MS) has been established to detect 61 organic compounds in mineral water. Compounds included vinyl chloride, chloroprene, nitrobenzene, nitrochlorobenzenes, 1,3,5-trichlorobenzene and other 54 volatile organic compounds. The detection limits of D-HS-GC-MS method were 5.9, 6.4 and 9.9 μg/L for nitrobenzene, 2-nitrochlorobenzene and 2+4-nitrochlorobenzenes, 0.18 to 0.48 μg/L for others. RSDs of spiked blank samples at 1.00 and 2.00 μg /L were 5.8% to 19% and 2.0% to 11%, while recoveries of mineral water were 92.4% to 108%.
