Abstract:
A mathematic model for the evaluation of the uncertainty of the determination procedure for the release of nickel in jewelry by AAS was established. The uncertainty sources for each of the parameters in the model were analyzed. The results showed that the preparation of standard solutions and the fitted linear regression equation for the calibration were the main sources of uncertainties. The combined standard uncertainty of the release of nickel in jewlery was calculated to be 3.02×10
-3 from the experimental data. The expanded uncertainty was 6.04×10
-3 μg/(cm
2·week) when the confidence level was 95% (k=2).
