Abstract:
The nitrous oxide-ethane flame Atomic absorption spectrometer was applied to determine silicon content in cloth membrane of zirconium oxide nickel hydrogen storage battery material. The optimum measuring conditions for the determination of silicon content were obtained with a comprehensive consideration to interfering factors. The method has the advantages of high sensitivity, good selectivity, easiness in operation, and short analy period. Relative standard deviations were less than 1.0%(n=6) in six sample measures, and the recovery was in the range of 98.3%~100.9%(n=6). This method is a means to examine silicon in the zirconium oxide cloth membrane of nickel hydrogen storage battery material .
