Abstract:
A synchronous fluorometric method based on the fluorescence character of reaction product of meloxicam and sulphuric acid was established to determinate meloxicam tablet. The effect of different experimental conditions, such as the concentration of H
2SO
4, the reactive time and the surfactant were studied. The fluorescence intensity was linearly related to the meloxicam concentration in the range of 6.0×10
-8~1.0×10
-5 mol/L with the determination limit of 1.9×10
-9 mol/L. The proposed method was also successfully used to determine meloxicam in tablet and the mean recovery of meloxicam is 97.1%(RSD=1.5%,n=9).
