Abstract:
The metronidazole and tinidazole in human breast milk were assayed by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC). A high performance and rapid column pecosphere C
18 (3 μm, 3.3 cm×4.6 mm) was used. Metronidazole and tinidazole in breast milk extracted with chloroform, the average recovery rates from breast milk were above 88.8%. The pharmacokinetic parameters(mean±s)
tmax,
Cmax,
t1/2Ke of Metronidazole and Tinidazole in lactating women after infusion of a single dose of Metronidazole(20 mg/kg, n=8) and Tinidazole (13 mg/kg, n=7) respectively were 1.7±1.0 h, 20.10±4.95 μg/mL, 6.4±3.3 h and 1.3±0.6 h, 17.23±3.12 μg/mL, 11.0±3.5 h.
