Abstract:
The optimum supercritical fluid extraction(SFE) conditions of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) were studied by crossed design experiments. The effects of different operating factors including the pressure, the temperature and volume of the liquid CO
2 used on the recovery of PAHs by SFE were investigated. The accuracy of the optimized condition was determined by a simulated environmental sample. The SFE results indicated that the optimum SFE condition could be obtained by the cross design experiments and the method could be used for the analysis of the organic pollutants from the environmntal sample.
