Abstract: By applying COulometric principle this paper designs an instrument which can analyse automatically the content of carbonate in sediments. This instrument use the photoelectrochemical effect to control the end point automatically, It has the specificity of quick analysis, high precision and automation, so it can be widely used in the analysis of deposits and the study of such field as petroleum industry, sedimentology and. quartemary geology.
