Abstract:
2, 2, 4-Trimethyl-1, 3-pentanediol diisobutyrate (TXIB) was extracted from the water-borne adhesives for cigarette by
n-hexane with oscillation, and analyzed by gas chromatography and mass spectrometry under a selected ion monitoring mode, and quantitatively analyzed using an internal standard method. The results showed that the calibration curves of TXIB exhibited good linear relations(
R2>0.999) with the limit of detection of 0.75 μg/mL. The recoveries ranged from 95.3% to 103.1%, and the relative standard deviation (RSD) of the method was below 2%. This method is suitable for the analysis of TXIB in water-based emulsion adhesives for cigarette.
