Abstract:
In order to study the content and composition of oil in tobacco, the extraction methods:ultrasonic extraction, soxhlet extraction, accelerted solvent extraction, and supercritical CO
2 extraction were used respectively. The extracts were separated into three fractions of different polarities by a silica gel and alumina column. And then the fractions were separated and identified by the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC/MS). Soxhlet extraction was finally chosen after balanced the extraction rate and the composition of the extract. The extraction parameters were optimized by single factor experiments. The results showed that the optimal parameters were:chloroform was used as the extraction solvent and the extraction time was 16 hours. The components obtained by this method were comprehensive. It is conducive to the adjustment and design of the cigarette formulation.
