Abstract:
According to the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China 2020, the biological characters and chemical components of
Dracocephalum tanguticum Maxim
. were studied systematically. The characters of the herbs were described in detail by thin-layer chromatography (TLC). The moisture, total ash, acid-insoluble ash and extract of
Dracocephalum tanguticum Maxim
. were determined. A high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) for the determination of chlorogenic acid and linoside in
Dracocephalum tanguticum Maxim
. was established. The contents of chlorogenic acid and linoside in 11 batches of samples were determined. Based on the experimental data, the content of moisture was not greater than 9.96%, the content of total ash was not greater than 11.4%, the content of acid-insoluble ash was not greater than 1.62%, and the content of extract was not less than 21.6%. Based on dry samples, the contents of chlorogenic acid and linoside were not less than 1.47% and 0.98%, respectively.
